Dr. Sami Enomoto

Head Veterinary Assistant

Sami Enomoto has been part of the Pet Health family since 2022, where she quickly became known for her empathy, dedication, and ability to create a calm, supportive environment for pets and their people. Her journey into veterinary medicine began unexpectedly, sparked by a friend’s encouragement, and quickly grew into a passion for helping animals thrive.

At Pet Health, Sami played a key role in ensuring thoughtful communication with pet parents, providing follow-up support, and assisting in delivering the high-touch, personalized care that defines our practice. She brings this same commitment to our new Pet Care location, where she is especially excited to continue her work closer to home and help establish a welcoming, connected atmosphere for pet families in the Henderson area.
Sami’s own experience as a pet parent shapes her approach to veterinary care. Her Chihuahua/Papillon mix, Fennec, was rescued from a sewer with severe head trauma—and his recovery reminds her daily of the importance of compassionate, individualized care.
Outside of work, Sami stays inspired through music festivals, baking, travel, K-dramas, and creative outlets like painting. Her warmth, creativity, and strong sense of purpose make her a natural fit for Pet Care, where she looks forward to building lasting relationships with a whole new community of pets and their people.

Dr. Renee Lewis

Medical Director, DVM, cVMA, Fear Free® Certified

Meet Dr. Renee Lewis, a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian who brings her expertise and warmth to the Pet Health and Pet Care family. A longtime Henderson resident of 15 years, Dr. Lewis is especially excited to serve her own community through the opening of Pet Care.

Driven by an early love for animals and a desire to support people, Dr. Lewis explored multiple career paths focused on helping others. Ultimately, she returned to her original dream of becoming a veterinarian, combining her passions for pet care and client education.

After earning her degree in Animal Sciences and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from LSU, Dr. Lewis has continually expanded her knowledge through certifications in veterinary medical acupuncture, Fear-Free methods, and abdominal ultrasound. She is known for her ability to listen deeply to pet parents’ concerns and involve them in their pet’s care, ensuring they feel informed and confident in every decision.

Dr. Lewis finds great joy in working alongside her team, where collaboration and mutual respect enhance the quality of care. She values the time and attention given to each patient, particularly those with anxiety, and believes this thoughtful approach sets Pet Health and Pet Care apart. Her German shepherd, Lily, has taught her the importance of patience and understanding with sensitive pets—an insight she applies daily in the clinic.

When not at work, Dr. Lewis enjoys staying active with yoga and Pilates and exploring the outdoors through hiking, sailing, and traveling. Her recent sailing certification reflects her adventurous spirit and love for continuous learning, which she brings to her role at Pet Care.
